ULAP

/u-lap/(n.) Tagalog - cloud, fog

  
    ULAP is a collective of gardeners, landscape architects, artists, and restoration ecologists whose aim is to reveal shared memories of landscape and culture. Our work takes place on the margins of our consciousness, in forgotten landscapes enveloped by the coastal fog of the San Francisco Bay.

Through art, ecological restoration, and garden making our work attempts to distill narratives of history, place, and providence from under the fog.

I was born in the fog. I speak no Tagalog. Pasensya na, my mouth is Too full of fog and my ears too, though Maybe you preferred it that way.
