We hosted an interpretive hike through the eucalyptus forest on San Bruno Mountain. The guided 3 mile hike explored different approaches to habitat "restoration" under eucalyptus forests, native plant successes amidst the leaf litter, and the unique histories and stories of this controversial ecosystem. We also had a special workshop by local perfumer Mauricio Garcia who brought seven different eucalyptus derived compounds and shared new ways to experience our sense of smell.
